RETAINERS
So your active treatment is finished, now what? That means its time to start talking about how you're going to keep your brand new smile.
In many ways the retention phase is the most important part of your treatment. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far.

You will be provided with five sets of retainers (five upper and five lower) to ensure you have what you need to maintain your smile for years to come.
​
The first set of retainers will be made in-house and will
be provided to you on the day your braces are taken off. The other 4 sets of retainers will be manufactured and sent to us by Invisalign. For more information on Invisalign Vivera retainers, please visit the Invisalign website.

All provided retainers will be clear trays (pictured above). We do not offer Hawley retainers or bonded retainers, as we do not find they are as effective. You can find further explanation on why we don't use bonded retainers on our blog.
